Keller Williams 2019 RED Day

Give Where You Live

Red Day is a Keller Williams tradition that shows the heart of KW culture in action. RED stands for Renew, Energize and Donate. It is a fantastic annual event and give us the opportunity to give back to the communities where we live and serve. On the second Thursday in May, Keller Williams agents from around the world share their time on a special and important project for the community. In 2019, Angie was honored to participate and assist with the Mars Home for Youth (MHY) project with painting and landscaping.

MHY was established in 1878 by women from the United Presbyterian churches of Pittsburgh and Allegheny City (now Pittsburgh Northside neighborhoods). The United Presbyterian Orphan’s Home assisted families in circumstances of death or poverty care for their children. In 1929 due to increased need, the organization purchased the estate in Mars, PA and is the same site MHY Family Services occupies today. (mhyfamilyservices.org)
